Medical Emergencies (Life-Threatening Conditions)

In case of an emergency please immediately telephone Emergency Services – Ambulance by dialing 000 or go to the nearest Hospital Emergency Room (ER)

Examples of Emergencies requiring a 000 Call or ER visit:

  • Cardiac: Chest pain, pressure, or tightness; difficulty breathing; severe shortness of breath.

  • Neurological: Sudden slurred speech, facial drooping, arm weakness (signs of stroke).

  • Severe Bleeding: Uncontrolled or heavy bleeding that does not stop with pressure.

  • Trauma: Head injuries, severe falls, major broken bones (bone protruding through skin).

  • Toxicology: Overdose or ingestion of poisonous substances.

  • Mental Health: Suicidal ideation, severe hallucinations, or danger to self/others.

Walk-in (Non-Emergent Acute Illness/Injury)

We accept walk-in patients during our regular business hours. While we prioritize scheduled appointments, we reserve specific time slots daily for walk-ins.

  • Availability: Walk-ins are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Wait Times: We will do our best to see you as quickly as possible. However, patients with scheduled appointments or more severe conditions will be prioritized, which may result in a long wait time

  • Registration: All walk-in patients must check in at the front desk with a valid ID.

Please dial 000 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department if you have chest pains, uncontrolled bleeding, poisoning, constant vomiting, serious breathing problems, or anything else you deem as life or limb threatening.
